Only to give me pangs

With growing loathe in mind

Obliged I felt to stay with you

Neither remorse nor compassion

You quenched a pending vengeance

Day and night in pool of tears

Unfathomably ruthless and rude

You ripped my heart into pieces

As the day to bid you farewell came closer

My heart is elated with blithe and joy

Endless prayers to end your life

Lately to realize you did me good

Grateful I am, for you taught me lessons

Wisdom and tolerance to bear the morons

You gift me love and care as you leave

I run short of words to show my gratitude

As the new beginning waits to unfold

As I wait to welcome the future
